The BDC (Business Development Cell), at IRD oversees the production of part numbers that have passed through the New Product Introduction cycle, but may not yet be qualified to stand on their own. The BDC focus is to further develop and fine tune the manufacturing process for efficiency and yield.
With over fifteen years experience, Shanna steps comfortably into the recently created position of IRD’s BDC Lead. We’re excited to have her there! Shanna’s extensive experience in the lap and polish area, work in machining, the pressure transducer cell and inspection areas, make her a great fit for this lead position. She’s worked just about everywhere here at IRD. And if there’s a question in production, Shanna will usually have the answer you’re looking for!
Shanna is married, with two kids and two dogs; can you believe that that young face is a grandma?!! She spends most of her free time adoring her grandson, and camping and biking with family.
Got a question for IRD? Shanna most probably can help! Find her at email@example.com.
