New Product Process Technician
Lead process development, troubleshooting, data analysis, and production transfer for new manufacturing work at IRD Glass in Litchfield.
First shift, Monday through Thursday, four 10-hour days. The published starting pay range is $25-$32 per hour.

What the work includes
Process development
- Develop and validate manufacturing processes before implementation
- Plan, run, analyze, and document process experiments and trials
- Support the transfer of new products and technologies into repeat production
- Write work instructions after the process is established
Analysis and improvement
- Perform process-capability studies and statistical analysis
- Monitor performance with SPC and production metrics
- Troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues
- Research tooling, materials, technologies, and manufacturing methods
Required background
- Manufacturing-related degree or three to five years of related technical manufacturing experience
- Process-improvement, analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Mechanical ability, strong math and computer skills, and familiarity with metric and US customary measurement
Preferred experience
- Hydraulics, pneumatics, and computer-related mechanics
- 8D, RCCA, root-cause, LEAN, DOE, or Six Sigma methods
- SolidWorks or CAD software and basic CAM knowledge
